DILG Nueva Ecija, along with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Cabiao, graced the inauguration of the newly constructed Municipal Housing Phase VI, located in Barangay Entablado, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija.
The project was funded through the FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), an incentive program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) that supports priority initiatives of local government units that have earned the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
The newly built homes stand as a testament to the municipality’s steadfast commitment to providing its residents with safe, adequate, and sustainable housing. More than just a housing project, it reflects the shared vision of the national and local governments to promote inclusive development, strengthen community resilience, and improve the overall quality of life of Cabiaoeños.
Mayor Rav Kevin M. Rivera and Vice Mayor Ramil B. Rivera led the inauguration ceremony, while LGOO VII Danilo C. Rillera, Cluster I Team Leader, attended on behalf of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., CESO V. Also present were DILG Nueva Ecija provincial staff and LGOO VI Vivorey S. Lapitan, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer of Cabiao.
The inauguration highlights the municipality’s commitment to good governance and strong local leadership, underscoring its continuous efforts to provide affordable and sustainable housing for its constituents.
