In continuous support to the President’s goal of ensuring food security throughout the country, DILG NE participated in the first Katuwang sa Diwa at Gawa para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita o KADIWA ng Pangulo initiative this 2025. This activity, hosted by the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija headed by Honorable Governor Aurelio M. Umali, was held today, January 20, 2025, at the Provincial Capitol in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
The event brought together key stakeholders, including DILG, DA, DTI, and the Nueva Ecija Entrepreneur Development Cooperative. Over 30 exhibitors, comprising of cooperatives and small enterprises, showcased a diverse range of fresh produce, crops, and locally made products through market stalls and booths, or “KADIWA Stores,” set up within the Provincial Capitol premises.
The KADIWA ng Pangulo initiative serves as a vital government intervention to foster inclusive local economic growth by empowering the agricultural sector and ensuring food security at the community level.
