The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office III (DILG RIII) led the Clean-up and Tree-planting activity held last November 9, 2012 in the City of Meycauyan, Bulacan in its effort to save the Marilao-Meycauayan-Obando River System (MMORS) and to institutionalize regular clean up activity conducted every first Saturday of the month.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 staff together with the Provincial Offices of Nueva Ecija and Pampanga joined the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) in the conduct of its Broadcastreeing Tree Planting Activity last October 13, 2012.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government in Region III, headed by RD Florida M. Dijan has organized and presided the Consultative Conference of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) in Central Luzon on September 11, 2012 at Red Rickshaw, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.



The American Chamber (AmCham) Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., in coordination with DILG Region 3, donated relief goods to the flood victims of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga on September 5, 2012 at the town’s Municipal Hall. Beneficiaries were 200 affected families as identified by their Municipal Social Welfare Development Office (MSWDO).
His Excellency President Benigno S. Aquino III visited on August 10, 2012 the flood victims of the monsoon rains in Brgy. Sto. Niño Integrated School, one of the evacuation centers in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. With him were DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman, Presidential Communications and Strategic Development Office Secretary Ricky Carandang, TESDA Director Joel Villanueva, DOE Secretary Jose Rene Almendras and Congressman Sonny Angara.
