To ensure a more efficient and uniformed regional implementation of the Local Government Performance System (LGPMS) and its Sub-systems, the LGU Scorecard on Health and the Local Tourism Statistical System, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III called for a Planning Conference on February 7, 2013 at the Conference Room, DILG Regional Office 3, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. It was attended by the Provincial and HUC Focal Persons on LGPMS.

In line with its mandate as Vice-Chair for Disaster Preparedness, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 (DILG R3) conducted an Exit Conference on the result of the recently administered Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction Management (CBDRM) survey on January 30, 2013 at Oxford Hotel, Clark Special Economic Zone, Angeles City. It was participated in by the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officers (LDRRMO) of the seven provinces and two Highly Urbanized Cities together with the DILG Provincial Directors and Point Persons.

DILG Region 3, under the leadership of Director Florida M. Dijan, payed tribute to the retirees covering the period January 2012 – January 2013 on January 31, 2013 at DILG Region 3, City of San Fernando, Pampanga,. The activity themed as, “Once a DILG always a DILG,” was aimed to recognize the significant contributions and long years of dedicated service rendered by the retirees to the Department.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 initiated the conduct of the Training-Workshop on the Local Road Management Performance Assessment Tool (LRMPAT) held on January 30, 2013 at DILG Regional Office 3, Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
As the Interim Chairman and Secretariat of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) 3, DILG Region 3, led by RD Florida M. Dijan, spearheaded the seminar-workshop on the finalization of the Integrated Area Community Public Safety Plan (IA/CPSP) last January 10-11, 2013 at Hotel Euroasia, Clarkview, Angeles City, Pampanga. The workshop aims to address issues and concerns on peace and order by revisiting the draft Regional IACPSP crafted by the RPOC Technical Working Group (TWG) last year before presenting it to the whole council in the next RPOC meeting. The activity was attended by the members of the TWG composed of PNP, BFP, PPS-RTS, Philippine Army, Philippine Coast Guard, PNP Maritime, PDEA and BJMP.
DILG Region 3, thru its Regional Sanggunian Information System (SIS) Focal Persons, had trained Provincial Technical Assistance Teams (PTATs) in an activity dubbed as SIS Training of Trainors held on January 29, 2013 at DILG Regional Office III Conference Room, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. It was aimed to ensure the implementation of Legislative Tracking and Performance Monitoring Project (LTPMP) through the installation of SIS in all LGUs regionwide.
