Under this program, DILG monitors LGU compliance on the fulfillment of the following as prescribed in the Magna Carta of Women (MCW-RA 9262) and Republic Act 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) Act:
- Preparation of Gender and Development (GAD) Code
- Preparation of GAD Plan utilizing the 5% GAD Budget
- Establishment of GAD Database
- Organization of GAD Focal Point
- Functionality of Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC)
- Organization of Local Council for Anti-Trafficking (LCAT-VAWC)
- Establishment of VAW Desk in every barangay
