LGSF Utilization Status
In line with its continuing efforts to strengthen the monitoring of Locally-Funded Projects (LFP), the DILG Nueva Ecija LFP Team conducted an inspection of the ongoing improvement of the Nueva Ecija Fruits and Vegetables Seed Center Multi-Purpose Building in Barangay Bantug, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, January 22, 2026.
Funded under the FY 2024 Local Government Support Fund – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU) in the amount of Php 100,000,000.00, the project has started to materialize and is now 84% complete. It is envisioned to serve as a hub for local agricultural activities in the province and to significantly support the farming innovations and initiatives of the Nueva Ecija Fruits and Vegetables Seed Center.
The inspection aims to ensure that all project implementations adhere strictly to the approved plans and specifications, consistent with the Department’s commitment to transparency, quality assurance, and good local governance.
