LGSF Utilization Status
EARLIER | The Local Government Unit of Guimba together with DILG Nueva Ecija spearheaded the inauguration of the newly constructed 210-meter drainage canal along Medina Street, Barangay Sta. Veronica District, Guimba, Nueva Ecija.
The project was made possible through the FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) — an incentive program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) that supports priority projects of local government units (LGUs) that have earned the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG). The newly-constructed drainage canal aims to improve the water channel system and prevent Guimba’s población district from becoming a catch basin by redirecting the floodwater coming from adjacent areas, particularly from the Guimba-Pangasinan Road. It is envisioned to greatly benefit the residents, especially the local farmers, who will no longer have to worry about traversing the flooded street to transport their harvest during the rainy season. #DILGNuevaEcija #Uhay???? #TrestheBest
