LGSF Utilization Status
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija, through the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, conducted the Provincial Table Validation for the 2024 Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit on October 30, 2025, held at the DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, Old Capitol Compound, Cabanatuan City.
The activity was attended by the members of the Provincial Audit Committee, composed of representatives from the DILG Nueva Ecija, Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Nueva Ecija, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Nueva Ecija, and Ako ang Saklay, Inc. Anchored on DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2025-091, the audit aims to assess the functionality and effectiveness of Peace and Order Councils (POCs) across all levels of local government. It ensures that POCs remain dynamic mechanisms for coordination, monitoring, and formulation of responsive peace and order and public safety initiatives. Through this collaborative effort, DILG Nueva Ecija reaffirms its commitment to strengthening local peace and order mechanisms and promoting good governance for a safer and more peaceful province. #Uhay #TresTheBest
