LGSF Utilization Status

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)–Nueva Ecija officially turned over the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) results to various Local Government Units (LGUs) in the province through the CBMS Data Turnover Ceremony held on October 24, 2025, at Hotel Consuelo, Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija.

Representing the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija were LGOO II Maria Desserie P. Bundoc and LGOO II Iris P. Puerto, who witnessed the ceremonial transfer of the 2024 CBMS data files to 15 LGUs in the province. These datasets will serve as vital inputs for local development planning, program implementation, and evidence-based policy formulation.

The ceremonial turnover was led by Hon. Gil Raymond M. Umali, Acting Governor of Nueva Ecija, and Ms. Arlene M. Divino, Regional Director of PSA RSSO III. The event was highlighted by the presentation of the 2024 CBMS results delivered by Ms. Arlene S. Torrico, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA RSO III.

The formal handover of data and the signing of the affirmation of commitment to the responsible use of CBMS results were joined by the City and Municipal Mayors of the 15 recipient LGUs—Bongabon, Cabanatuan City, Cuyapo, Carranglan, Gabaldon, General Mamerto Natividad, Lupao, Laur, Palayan City, Peñaranda, Sto. Domingo, San Antonio, Talavera, Talugtug, and Zaragoza.

Also present were City and Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators (C/MPDCs), Municipal Statisticians, CBMS Focals, Data Protection Officers (DPOs), and representatives from the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija.

With the successful turnover of the 2024 CBMS data, PSA Nueva Ecija reaffirms its commitment to delivering timely, accurate, and relevant statistics in support of the province’s sustainable development goals.
