In collaboration with the DILG Regional Office, the online orientation aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants to effectively utilize and maximize the features of the EODB-OMS. The activity introduced the new digital platform developed by the Department, which consolidates multiple EODB-related compliance reports from LGUs, including those on the Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS), Building Permits and Certificates of Occupancy (BPCO), Energy Regulatory Reforms (ERR), Information Sharing on Pawnshops (PSs), Money Service Businesses (MSBs), and Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs).
LGOO II Millicent Kaye I. Velasquez discussed DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2025-094, or the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Unified Ease of Doing Business Online Monitoring System. Afterwards, LGOO V Rainier R. Collado, Regional EODB Focal Person, and Mr. Marlon C. Soliman, RICTU Database Administrator, conducted a step-by-step demonstration to guide users through the system. The EODB-OMS walkthrough allowed participants to navigate and familiarize themselves with the newly developed website and application.
The EODB-OMS will serve as a unified reporting system for EODB-related compliance, systematically monitoring LGU performance and encouraging them to be more proactive in delivering efficient and responsive services to their constituents and clients.
