The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija joined the local government of Talugtug in the inauguration and turnover ceremony of the newly purchased rescue vehicle funded under the FY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF)—an
incentive provided by the DILG to support priority projects of LGUs conferred with the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).The ceremony was led by Honorable Mayor Pacifico B. Monta, and was also participated in by DILG Nueva Ecija through LGOO VI Leovielyn H. Aduna, Capability Development Section (CDS) Head, who represented Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V. Also present were LGOO VI Elria E. Hermogino, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer of Talugtug, and provincial personnel from DILG Nueva Ecija.
The acquisition of the rescue vehicle through the SGLGIF stands as a testament to the municipality’s commitment to strengthen its capacity in disaster preparedness, emergency response, and public service delivery, ensuring safer and more resilient communities.
