LGSF Utilization Status
Themed “Araw ng Pakikibahagi: Solusyon at Aksyon Ating Talakayin ngayong Barangay Assembly Day,” the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, joined the officials, functionaries, and residents of Barangay Santa Lucia Young, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija in the conduct of their 2025 2nd Semester Barangay Assembly Day.
The activity was also attended by representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)–Zaragoza, Municipal Agriculture Office, Municipal Treasury Office, Municipal Registrar’s Office, Rural Health Unit I, and the Deputy Operations Office of Zaragoza, who each shared their respective programs and services beneficial to the residents.
Representing the DILG Provincial Office, LGOO II Lyka P. Dimalanta discussed the Department’s programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), and encouraged the barangay officials to continue strengthening their barangay-based institutions. Meanwhile, LGOO VI Rolando D. Ocampo read the message of SILG Juan Victor Remulla, and conveyed appreciation to all the members of the barangay councils, committees, and functionaries for ensuring the continuous delivery of public service to their constituents.
During the assembly, each Sangguniang Barangay member presented their reports and accomplishments for their respective committees, including Peace and Order, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Appropriations, Education, Environment, Livelihood and Cooperative, and Agriculture.
In his message, Punong Barangay Calderon reaffirmed his commitment to fully support the initiatives and programs of the barangay, ensuring that essential services are delivered promptly to the people.
Also gracing the activity were Municipal Vice Mayor Edwin Buendia and Liga ng mga Barangay President – Zaragoza Chapter Hon. Aristotle Manabat, who both commended PB Calderon for his exemplary leadership and dedication to public service.
