LGSF Utilization Status
On March 13, 2025, the DILG Nueva Ecija, spearheaded by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director, joined the 1st Quarter 2025 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).
During the drill, DILG NE personnel readily demonstrated the "duck, cover, and hold" protocol. This highlights the importance of this simple yet crucial practice in ensuring safety in the event of an earthquake.
The NSED, led by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), aims to fortify earthquake preparedness nationwide. This initiative brings together national government agencies, local government units, private organizations, and various community sectors to foster readiness and resilience in the event of an earthquake.
Let’s continue to DUCK, COVER, and HOLD, and uphold a culture of preparedness and safety for all.
