Earlier Today - As part of a nationwide initiative to bring government services closer to the people, the Province of Nueva Ecija participated in the Simultaneous Culminating Event of “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” on September 13, 2025, held at the Old Capitol Compound in Cabanatuan City.

Facilitated by the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija, the event was a continuation of last year’s “Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyo Fair,” reaffirming the administration’s commitment to delivering genuine and meaningful change, especially to the most vulnerable sectors of society.

Gracing the occasion was Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Juanito Victor "Jonvic" C. Remulla, who emphasized that the Serbisyo Fair is dedicated to serving all Filipinos and reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive and unified governance. Joining him were DILG Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose, CESO III, and Acting Governor Gil Raymond M. Umali, both expressing strong support for the collaborative effort.

The event also featured a ceremonial awarding of assistance to various beneficiaries, including:

  • ten (10) SBCORP loan beneficiaries from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI);
  • the turnover of 1,000 narra (Pterocarpus indicus) seedlings from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to PGNE;
  • five (5) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) payout beneficiaries from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD);
  • fifteen (15) TUPAD and SPES payout beneficiaries from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); and
  • the awarding of a Certificate of Eligibility.

Key participating agencies included the DILG, PNP, BFP, DOH, PHO, Super RHUs of various LGUs, Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center, Talavera General Hospital, DOLE, DA, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office, DAR, DepEd, DENR, TESDA, DSWD, and PESO. These agencies offered services such as a Job Fair, KADIWA ng Pangulo, Zero Billing, Health on Wheels, Mobile Library, provision of 1,000 narra tree seedlings, free TESDA skills training, and the Usapang Negosyo Desk.

The “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” event showcased the strength of collaboration between national government agencies (NGAs) and local government units (LGUs) in delivering timely and responsive services to the people.
