The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Zambales together with the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) conducted Joint Final Inspection of road projects under the Department's Konkreto at Ayos na LanSAngan ang Daan tungo sa Pangkalahatang Kaunlaran (KALSADA) Program on August 14, 2017.

The National Validation for the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) kicked off and the Municipalities of Castillejos and San Antonio were among the local government units (LGUs) that were assessed by Region XIII representative LGOO VII Ray Gregory F. Jaranilla on August 14, 2017.
Iba, Zambales. On August 8, 2017, LGU Officials led by Honorable Mayor Jun Rundstedt C. Ebdane and Vice Mayor Irenea Maniquiz-Biñan and the people of Iba, Zambales, joined the forty nine (49) other LGUs in the simultaneous lighting of the ASEAN Lanterns. With the theme: "Under One Light, We are One ASEAN", the activity symbolizes ASEAN's important role as the light that guides the path of the ASEAN Member countries.
