STO. TOMAS – An easier access to goods and services now benefits the people of Sto. Tomas as the construction of several core local access roads has been completed which was made possible through the DILG's 2017 Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) Program.
On April 18, 2017, a total of Php 16M was downloaded to the municipality for the implementation of the ADM Projects consisting of the improvement and/or upgrading of four local roads located in Barangays San Vicente, San Matias, and Moras dela Paz and construction of a 350m elevated Evacuation Center at Brgy. San Vicente.
Per the monitoring report of the ADM Projects, all roads were marked as completed as of August 2017.
Aside from providing easier access, the newly-constructed roads are also expected to enhance the LGU's productivity as it eases out certain delays in the transportation of agricultural products, tourism and manufacturing.
