PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA – In a move to deepen executive-legislative collaboration, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III met with Congresswoman Mica Gonzales of the 3 rd District of Pampanga on July 14, 2025 to align on key governance priorities and bolster partnerships for local development.
The dialogue focused on empowering local government units, improving public service delivery, and ensuring legislative support for inclusive, community-driven programs. DILG Region III Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose expressed her gratitude for the Congresswoman’s consistent support to the Department’s initiatives, underscoring that effective grassroots governance thrives through strong synergy with lawmakers.
Congresswoman Gonzales reaffirmed her commitment to advancing DILG’s advocacies, particularly those aimed at strengthening LGU capacities and promoting transparent, accountable leadership.
Also in attendance were DILG Pampanga Provincial Director Myra B. Moral Soriano, Regional Planning Officer Jairo Elysse D. Singian, PDMU Chief Engr. McGyver T. David, and Program Manager Alexandra C. Velasquez.
