In a bid to strengthen youth governance centered on transparency and accountability, the DILG Pampanga, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Pampanga through the Provincial Youth Development Office, the Pampanga SK Federation, and the National Youth Commission Pampanga, successfully conducted a Provincial Orientation on the 2025 SK Assessment entitled "YOUTH CHECK: Youth Advocates for Outstanding Governance Towards a Holistic Nation – Championing Excellence, Commitment, and Knowledge" on June 25, 2025, via Zoom Meeting.

The said activity, which was participated in by C/MLGOOs, LSWDOs, Local Budget Officers, LYDOs, and SK Councils, aimed to provide a clear understanding of the Assessment Indicators for SKs and LYDOs—a mechanism formulated to monitor and evaluate the performance of youth leaders across Pampanga. The Youth Check covers various performance areas, including financial accountability, development planning, effective leadership and governance, policy compliance, implementation of PPAs, and innovation.

This initiative underscores the Department's thrust to empower local leaders to assess, reinforce, and elevate their strategies by means of a standardized framework tailored specifically for the youth sector. Through continued support, capacity development, and performance assessment, the Province of Pampanga ensures that SKs and LYDOs represent a transformative institution that echoes the voices and aspirations of Kayanakang Kapampangan—one who serves with purpose, leads with integrity, and stands as a paragon of excellence.
