The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, convened for its Provincial Team Conference (PTC) for June 2025 via hybrid modality on June 17, 2025, at the DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Office in Cabanatuan City and virtually via Zoom Meetings. The activity gathered both Provincial Office and Field Office personnel to discuss relevant issuances, calibrate reports, realign priorities, assess implementation progress, and recognize outstanding performance.
The conference opened with the acknowledgment of the presence of City and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers by LGOO VII Danilo C. Rillera under Cluster I (Districts 1 and 4) and LGOO VII Louie C. Manarpiis, Ph.D. under Cluster II (Districts 2 and 3), while LGOO VI Donnabel E. Estipular acknowledged the Provincial Office personnel.
Subsequently, recent and relevant DILG issuances were discussed to ensure uniform understanding among all personnel. LGOO V Kristian Rob D. Santiago discussed the issuance on the Establishment of Local Government Transition Teams (LGTT); LGOO II Nelcy V. Mendoza tackled the Additional Guidelines on the Filing of Applications for Foreign Travel Authority (FTA) of local officials and employees; and LGOO II Youse Nikanor P. Cruz presented the LGU Preparedness Actions for the Rainy Season.
The Provincial Office then provided key updates from its major sections: LGOO V Santiago for the Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), LGOO V Leovielyn H. Aduna for the Capability Development Section (CDS), and LGOO V Angelyn B. De Guzman for the Finance and Administrative Section (FAS).
A highlight of the activity was the recognition of Provincial Awardees on Compliance and Excellence (PACEs) for the month of May 2025. Provincial and Field Office personnel are awarded monthly in recognition of their exemplary performance in facilitating LGU compliance with reportorial requirements and other deliverables.
In closing, Provincial Director Tactac reaffirmed the support of the Provincial Office to the Field Offices in the fulfillment of the Department's mandates.
