Olongapo City's fight against crime and drugs received a boost on May 5, 2023, as Mayor Rolen C. Paulino, Jr. headed the 2nd Quarter 2023 Joint CPOC-CADAC-CTF ELCAC Meeting at the FMA Hall, City Hall Complex, West Bajac-Bajac, Olongapo City. The meeting focused on tackling the city's most pressing issues and concerns, with a specific emphasis on reducing crime rates and drug prevalence.

 Mayor Paulino, Jr. stressed the importance of addressing these issues and emphasized the city's commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for its citizens. He praised the efforts of law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders in the fight against crime and drugs and urged them to continue working together toward achieving the city's goals.

The meeting also served as the venue for the Orientation of the upcoming POC and ADAC Performance Audits, 2022 year under review. This was an opportunity for stakeholders to prepare and ensure that they are compliant with the guidelines set by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). Further, Mayor Paulino, Jr. encouraged everyone to work together for the upcoming audits. He reiterated the importance of passing the said audits as the indicators are the minimum requirements set in the law and other statutes. Passing these audits may help secure funding and/or incentives, he added.

Various agencies and organizations were present at the meeting, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) among others. Each agency presented their respective reports and updates on their efforts to address the issues at hand.
