CITY OF BALANGA – The Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) headed by Engr. Alexander Baluyot joined the discussion on the DILG MC No. 2022-083 concerning civil society organizations (CSOs) in an interfacing activity with the DILG Bataan officers at The Bunker on July 6, 2022.

 DILG Bataan PD Belina T. Herman, Cluster Head Melissa Nipal and Capability Development Section Chief Johnny Mandocdoc clarified the subject circular which underscores the guidelines on the process for accreditation and selection of CSOs and the representation to Local Special Bodies (LSBs), and how to strengthen the participation in local governance.

During the activity, the planning office was also enlightened about their role in the organization and implementation of the local project monitoring committee as stated in DILG MC 2019-188 entitled "Organization or Reconstitution of Sub-Regional Project Monitoring Committees."
