As part of its efforts to continuously strengthen the POC Secretariat, the DILG Pampanga conducted a two-day activity from May 31 to June 1, at Forest Cabin, Baguio City with DILG Field Officers and Provincial Office staff.

 A refresher on the roles and functions of DILG Officers as head secretariat to the POC was the focal point of the said activity. The discussion also zeroed in on the gaps and findings observed during the recently concluded 2019 and 2021 Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit and how these can be addressed moving forward.

Presented were the POC Omnibus Guidelines, Tips on how to facilitate a meeting, and proposed guidelines and criteria for the Best Performing POC, an initiative of the Provincial Peace and Order Council.
