DILG Bataan conducted its midyear programs assessment thru another episode of its Proactive Bataan series entitled, "Glow Up 2.0: Empowering Transformation" at Forest Cabin, Camp John Hay, Baguio City on June 1-2, 2022.
The activity identified the team's accomplishments and recommended strategies to effectively implement DILG programs, as well as to develop cohesiveness and strengthen the culture of excellence of the team.
ADA IV Joseph Castro provided a hands-on tutorial on good grooming and corporate make-up to improve self-confidence and personality development among its team members.
The team also recognized the best field officers for the 1st semester for their steadfast commitment in implementing various DILG PPAs. Awards were conferred to the top-performing field officers for MES and CDS, Legal/Hotline 8888 compliance and advocating DILG programs on social media.
One of the highlights of the activity was the tribute for PD Myra Moral-Soriano who will be assigned at DILG Pampanga in June of this year. A fitting recognition through a simple testimonial program was held led by the provincial office team.
Cluster Team Leader, C/MLGOOs and PO personnel of DILG Bataan extended their farewell wishes and heartfelt messages as gratitude to PD Soriano's nine dedicated years of service in Bataan. The team also offered love gifts and special song numbers to honor her leadership and guidance to the team.
The activity is capped with PD Soriano conveying her appreciation and what DILG Bataan has accomplished as a team. She also emphasized that kindness is essential to leadership success, wherein it gives the best interests of the team members and the organization.
She added that kindness encourages collaboration, sharing of ideas and mutual support between peers. The overall impact is increased productivity, efficiency and competence, exactly what DILG Bataan has accomplished as a team in recent years.
