CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA—SILG Eduardo M. Ano praises the local chief executives (LCEs) in curbing the COVID-19 rates within the region.

 "Personal po ako nagbibigay pugay sa lahat ng lalo na sa mga local chief executives (LCEs) sa pagiging kabalikat ng nasyonal pamahalaan sa pagsugpo sa pandemya," SILG Ano said during the conduct of the Bida Tungo sa New Normal Roadshow at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.

Further, SILG Ano empowers LCEs to think outside the box and find innovative strategies to strengthen the COVID-19 measures as the nation transitions to the new normal.'
SILG Ano, alongside Presidential Adviser for COVID-19 Response Secretary Vivencio Dizon, encourages all LCEs and pertinent stakeholders to continue and even strengthen their strategies against COVID-19, sustaining the current COVID-19 status within Central Luzon.

As part of the National Government's continuous monitoring process of its vaccination strategies, the said executives conducted an on-site visit on one of the vaccinations sites of the said city. Their observations of these best practices shall form part of developing a much cohesive national plan for the aggressive vaccination strategies to be implemented in the following months.

The roadshow also served as a platform for discussing the COVID-19 situation, strategies, and guidelines in the region, particularly within the Province of Pampanga.
