In collaboration with the National Youth Commission, DILG Pampanga spearheads the conduct of a consultation meeting with Pampanga LYDOs to strengthen the implementation of Youth Development Programs, Projects, Services and Activities.

 Relevant policy guidelines were discussed during the activity which was actively participated by the said LYDOs. Ms. Jhonnet Estavillo (LYDO Guagua) and Ms. Alyona Bondoc (LYDO Mexico) also shared their actual strategies on how they were able to successfully formulate their Local Youth Development Plans and established their Local Youth Development Councils.

The LYDP refers to the three-year strategic plan that consists of youth activities from nine (9) areas of concern for the SK namely Health, Education, Economic Empowerment, Social Inclusion and Equity, Peace Building and Security, Governance, Active Citizenship, Environment and Global Mobility.

The said activity was also part of the various capacity development interventions implemented under the Local Governance Resource Program of DILG Pampanga.
