As DILG Pampanga eyes to firmly establish its Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC) this year and strengthen its partnership with different stakeholders, the provincial office organized a consultative meeting with representatives from various organizations and institutions that will comprise its Multi-Sectoral Advisory Committee (MSAC).
The activity is the first step in a series of activities aimed at formalizing the partnership among MSAC members which will oversee and spearhead the implementation of various initiatives in pursuit of creating a culture of learning and promoting excellence in local governance.
The meeting was facilitated in by the LGRC Composite Team of DILG Pampanga and attended by representatives from different sectors including Vice Mayor Michael L. Galang of the Vice Mayors League of the Philippines - Pampanga Chapter, BM Renato Mutuc of the Liga ng mga Barangay Pampanga Chapter, heads and representatives from Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., Don Honorio Ventura State University, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Trade and Industry and Philippine National Police.
Through the MSAC, DILG Pampanga's LGRC hopes to build more learning communities in the province through knowledge management, linkage and sharing of best practices.
