In anticipation of the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment, the DILG Pampanga called for an Orientation cum Preparatory Meeting to discuss the possible guidelines for the said assessment on January 20, 2022.
The LGU's Performance Review and draft guidelines for the SGLG Assessment were discussed, as well as the Initial Assessment for the LGUs based from the Pre-survey conducted by the Provincial Office.
PD Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, in her guiding message, reiterated the call to LGUs to prepare and to work closely with their DILG officers in order to ensure good performance during the assessment.
"Ang SGLG ay isa sa mga prestihiyosong pagkilala na ibinibigay ng aming Kagawaran para sa ating mga LGU. Sana ay pagsumikapan natin itong makamit hindi lamang para sa parangal kung hindi para lalong maitaas ang antas ng panunungkulan ng ating mga namamahala sa mga lokal na pamahalaan," PD Fabia said.
The said activity was attended by the DILG officers and LGU SGLG focal persons in preparation for the assessment that is slated from February to May this year.
