DILG-Angeles City conducted its 1st working day Management Meeting on January 3, 2022 to strategically line up its capability development, technical assistance and monitoring and evaluation programs and activities for the local government units of Angeles City.
City Director Martin Porres B. Moral enjoined the DILG-AC team members to thoroughly monitor the compliance of the city and barangay governments in the provision of services required by the DILG and other pertinent laws, policies and issuances. He also instructed the team to organize conferences to present, communicate and discuss to the local officials the results of the recent functionality assessments of the local special bodies, local sectoral councils and barangay-based institutions, DILG programs for Local Government Units and the online system for the monitoring and submission of city and barangay reports.
To improve the local government performance and to facilitate the monitoring and submission of city and barangay reports, DILG-AC lines up activities such as conduct of various capability development trainings, establishment of online report monitoring and evaluation system, and awards and commendations for outstanding barangay governments.
