With its commitment to the government's call to rehabilitate and preserve the Manila Bay Area, DILG Nueva Ecija headed by Dir Renato G. Bernardino, in partnership with the Municipality of Gabaldon, conducted a Clean Up Drive in Coronel River, Brgy Calabasa, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija on December 14, 2021, attended by all DILG Nueva Ecija personnel.

 The Clean Up Activity was aimed at maintaining the cleanliness of bodies of water within the province along the Manila Bay Area, which in turn will contribute to the rehabilitation and preservation of the Manila Bay.

"Maraming salamat po, sa pagpapakita ng magandang halimbawa, na ang ginagawa ng mga barangay na clean up activities ay ginagawa din ng DILG," said Mayor Jobby P. Emata in his message of gratitude to DILG Nueva Ecija.
