As part of the implementation of the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Program Governance Reform Plan, DILG Region 3, in partnership with the Bureau of Local Government Finance Region 3, conducted the Training-Workshop on Revenue Forecasting and Resource Mobilization on December 6, 7 and 9, 2021 via Zoom Cloud Meetings Application.

 The 3-day training-workshop served as an avenue to enable the participants to: Formulate LGU Resource Mobilization Plan (LRMP) in response to planning requirements; Improve the LGU strategies in the collection of real property tax (RPT), business tax and other fees and charges; Improve revenue earning capacity of local economic enterprise; and Understand other financing modalities available for LGUs and select the appropriate modality.

In attendance were the Local Finance Committees together with the Accountants and Assessors of all 137 Municipal, City, and Provincial LGUs in Central Luzon, who were trained to effectively perform their enhanced roles in local planning and budgeting and resource mobilization.
