CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The Joint Provincial Peace and Order and Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (PPOC-PADAC) approved the programming of P50-M for the Peace and Order Budget for the year 2022 during the council meeting held via Zoom on November 03, 2021.
A total of P10 million was allotted for the conduct of advocacy programs and information dissemination, briefing, trainings, and seminars; Strengthening of intelligence capacity of difference force multipliers in the Province; Support to results-oriented operations like Massive checkpoints and campaign against loose firearms.
The council also allocated P40 million for the Anti-Insurgency and Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict Programs (ELCAC); Anti-Illegal Drug Programs like barangay drug clearing and maintenance of Halfway House; Intensification of police force and support to law enforcement activities; Public safety; and Capital Outlay.
The local council also allotted for the 2022 confidential fund amounting to P15 million.
In his message, Governor Dennis G. Pineda called all the Mayors and Chiefs of Police to intensify the arrest and apprehension of the most wanted persons in the province. He then thanked all the council members for their cooperation and participation to continuously maintain a peaceful and orderly community for all Cabalens. Finally, he reiterated his all-out support to all peace, order, and security programs against illegal drugs, criminality, terrorism and insurgency.
