"Ang masasabi ko sa inyo, kung ano ang mga ginagawa ninyong maganda as a Team, ipagpatuloy natin ang mga ito."
These were the words expressed by the newly-installed regional director of DILG R3, Dir. Karl Caesar Rimando to all DILG Bataan personnel during his interfacing with the team on October 15, 2021 at The Bunker.
This is in recognition of the efforts that the team had exerted to achieve and sustain its excellent performance, as he envisions DILG Region 3 to continually be the BEST performing region in the country.
According to RD Rimando, the lines "I am an LGOO, and I am proud of it...So help me God," from the LGOO Creed is a commitment of local government operations officers (LGOOs) carries with him/her whenever challenge one is taken to. This especially applies to the C/MLGOOs who are often tested on their strength and diligence in the supervision of their respective local government units.
The new RD also paid a courtesy visit to Bataan Governor Albert Garcia. Joined by Assistant Regional Director Jay Timbreza, PD Myra Moral-Soriano and Cluster Head Melissa Nipal, the short meeting was made enough for Dir. Rimando to grasp and appreciate the leadership, programs and vision of the province. This was followed by a visit to the Office of the Vice Governor to also meet VG Cris Garcia.
Overall, the DILG Bataan Team welcomed RD Rimando with warmth and enthusiasm.
