The Locally Funded Projects (LFP) Team of DILG Bulacan, together with the LGU functionaries of Bustos, conducted project monitoring for the three completed projects under FY 2020 Assistance to Municipalities (AM) Program on February 24, 2021 to ensure its compliance to the national standards and Policy Guidelines of the program.
During the conduct of the activity, the team had the chance to interview two direct beneficiaries of the project, one of them is Mr. Emerito Galvez, 56 years old, a local farmer in Barangay Cambaog, Bustos, Bulacan. He shared the impact of the project to the community as well as thanked the DILG for the project "Unang una sa lahat, nagpapasalamat ako kay Mayor at sa DILG dahil yung matagal na nga naming tugon na mga magsasaka e naisakatuparan na ngayon.
Another respondent is Ms. Marissa de Leon, 43 years old, a carinderia owner in Brgy. Tibagan, who gladly told the team that her business got more customer ever since the road in front of her store was upgraded from rough road to a cemented road (PCCP).
The LFP Team regularly conducts project monitoring in Local Government Units that are recipients of AM and other DILG funded Projects in order to make sure that these projects are at par to the standards and guidelines of the National Government.
