In response to President Rodrigo Duterte's call to prioritize the maintenance of peace and order in the country, members of local Peace and Order Councils (POCs) in Pampanga convened to ensure that related programs and projects are aligned during the three-day training-workshop on August 13-15, 2019 in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plans for 2020-2022 were formulated and strategically aligned to ensure social protection and safety in aspects of anti-criminality, illegal drugs, crisis management, and fire and road safety in the province.
Representatives from the Philippine Army (PA), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Bureau of Fire Protection, and other concerned agencies provided substantial inputs relative the implementation of various programs and measures to be implemented in the provincial and municipal levels.
