The DILG Regional Office III personnel demonstrated alertness in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 20, 2019 at the DILG Regional Office III, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

At exactly two o'clock, the bell rang for 30 seconds on both floors of the building which represented shaking during an earthquake. The personnel were advised to wait for one (1) minute before proceeding to the designated evacuation area shown in the evacuation plans posted in every office. Marshalls per division and section wore orange hard hats as they lead the headcount and evacuation of their stations.

According to LGOO V Christian Red Mejia during the initial assessment of the activity, this quarter's NSED manifested improved flow of procedures compared to the past NSEDs conducted. The significance of disaster preparedness activities were given more recognition because of Pampanga's recent earthquake experience.

The activity concluded through a group video shoot by the personnel as they chant this year's #BidaAngHanda NSED theme.
