These statements were delivered by DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Director Renato Bernardino during the 9th Founding Anniversary of the 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion with the theme, "Victorious Troopers, Stronger, Better, Bolder at Nine" on February 15, 2019 at the Headquarters of 84IB, Sitio Junior Campo, Brgy. Sto. Niño II, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.
One of the highlights of the program was the awarding ceremony for deserving personnel and civilian partners who significantly contributed to the accomplishment of the unit's mission. PD Bernardino commended the men and women of the 84th Infantry Batallion for their love, courage, bravery, ultimate sacrifices and service to the Filipino people.
Also, two former rebels (FRs) were granted financial and livelihood assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP). This program responds to the needs and concerns of former rebels through provision of assistance and consideration of their basic rights.
