City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Prioritizing the safety of kapampangans and the unconstrained exercise of right of suffrage, public officials from all government units in the Province convene for the signing of the peace covenant at the Metropolitan Cathedral on March 27, 2019.

Speaking before the body, BGen. Rowel Tolentino of the 703rd IB, assured the public that the full force of the Philippine Army and the PNP will be dispensed in the event that a group disturb the orderliness of the elections.

BGen Tolentino also reminded everyone of the DILG MC No. 2019-26 which warns the public to not give in to any communist terrorist group collecting fees for permit-to-campaign/win. Instead, he encouraged everyone to report such groups for the authorities to execute appropriate action.

Leading the covenant signing are DILG Pampanga Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, Atty. Fernando Cot-om of COMELEC Pampanga, PNP Region 3 Director Joel Napoleon Coronel, PNP Pampanga Director Jean Fajardo, and 703rd IB Commander Rowel Tolentino, among others.
