The Department of the Interior and Local Government Angeles City, through Panlungsod na Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) President Arnoah Prince DG. Mandani, convenes the PPSK on February 6, 2019 to discuss DBM-DILG-NYC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, Series of 2019 regarding "Guidelines on the Appropriation, Release, Planning and Budgeting Process for the SK Funds".

The activity aims to equip SK Chairpersons on the appropriation and release by the barangay of the 10% SK Fund, and to orient them on the Planning and Budget process for SK Fund.

In his message, City Director Martin Porres B. Moral reminded all SK Chairpersons to always observe the proper budgeting, accounting, and auditing rules and regulations set by National Government Agencies (NGAs). "Ngayong nandito na ang guidelines upang inyong mahawakan at magamit ang pondo ng SK kaya kami sa DILG katuwang ang City Budget Office at iba pang ahensiya ng gobyerno ay laging naka-antabay sa inyo upang gabayan kayo sa tamang paggamit ng inyong pondo na naaayon sa batas", he added.

LGOO III Romer Enaje on the other hand presented the salient features of the JMC while Jennifer Magliman of the City Treasurer's Office discussed Fidelity Bonding requirements and briefly explained the proper computation on how to arrive on the amount of Bond.

Updates on the upcoming SK Special Election, Appointment of SK Treasurers and Secretaries, SK Mandatory Training were also discussed on this activity.
