ANGELES CITY: - To ensure the smooth conduct of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Special Election, DILG, COMELEC, SK Chairpersons, Barangay Treasurers, Barangay Secretaries and representatives from the barangay faith-based organization of the barangays with incomplete SK officials held a meeting on January 17, 2019 to discuss DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2018-212.

During the orientation, CD Martin Porres B. Moral recognized the determination and commitment of the SK in fulfilling their tasks despite having incomplete council. Also, he reminded them to encourage the members of Katipunan ng Kabataan to participate in the upcoming special election.

With the presence of the COMELEC, issues and concern pertaining to the upcoming special election were also addressed.

In the said activity, members of the Board of Elections Supervisors (BES), concerned SK and barangay officials were oriented on their respective roles and responsibilities.

Presently, Angeles City has a total of 25 vacant SK members from the barangays of Capaya, Cuayan, Loudes NorthWest, Lourdes Sur East, Mining, Margot, Claro M. Recto, Pulung Maragul, Sapangbato, Sta Teresita, Sto Cristo and Tabun.
