To revitalize its efforts on Gender and Development (GAD), the Bulacan State University launched GAD ALALAY SA BARANGAY PROJECT on November 20, 2018 with the theme: “Alyansa ng Pamantasan at Kanayunan, Daan sa Pagkakapantay-pantay at Kaunlaran”. This activity is part of the annual SAMBALAN (Sama Na Sa Pambayang Kaunlaran) Camp Project of the Bulacan State University Extension Service Office (BulSU-ESO) which aims to orient barangay officials on gender and development and to heighten their awareness on gender concerns and be willing to respond to gender issues.

In his message, PD David acknowledged the efforts and initiatives of the Bulacan State University in localizing the Magna Carta of Women in response to the Sustainable Development Goal of achieving gender equality and women empowerment.
