September 6, 2018, Acropolis North, Cabanatuan City – "Ang alituntunin na ito ay bilang suporta sa ginagawang adhikain at kampanya ng ating pamahalaan upang makamit ang kapayapaan at katahimikan sa ating probinsya- pagsumikapan natin at paghusayan nating lahat!"- these are the words uttered by DILG- Nueva Ecija Provincial Director Renato G. Bernardino during the provincial roll-out of the 2017 Peace and Order Councils (POCs) Performance Audit.

The said event was attended by all Chiefs-of-Police Nueva Ecija under the leadership of PSSupt Eliseo T Tanding, Provincial Director of PNP-NEPPO, City/ Municipal Local Government Operations Officers of DILG- NE and members of local peace and order councils. Also present in the activity were Col Rowen Tolentino, Brigade Commander of the 703 IB, Agent John Jerme Almerino of PDEA- NE and Mr. Ariel Severino, CSO partners and regular PPOC members.

As part of the commitment of the local government sector in supporting the President's thrusts in combating criminality and eliminating illegal drugs in the country, the DILG conducts performance audit to all Peace and Order Councils in the country taking into account the five (5) pillars of the POC's functionality namely: organization, meetings, plans/programs/budget, reports and innovation. The said performance audit's implementation is based on DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2018-120.
