SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE – As chair of the Central Luzon Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (CL-RPRAT), the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III spearheads the conduct of the two-day BuB Provincial Stakeholders Forum from April 19-20, 2017 at the Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The activity will serve as an opportunity for the Bottom-up Budgeting Project Management Office (BuB PMO), oversight agencies, CL-RPRAT and Local Government Units (LGUs) to present and discuss the over-all city/municipal status of BuB Project implementation and to formulate feasible resolutions to issues and concerns encountered in the completion of FY 2014, 2015, and 2016 BuB projects.
The BuB program, through various Local Poverty Reduction Action Teams (LPRATs), shall work in close coordination with the National Government Agencies (NGAs) in order to expedite the implementation and full liquidation of BuB projects and meet their respective committed completion dates.
"Kahit hindi proyekto ng DILG, minomonitor namin. Mabigat ang trabaho pero nagpapasalamat kami sa mga department heads dahil tinutulungan nila kami sa implementation ng mga BuB projects.", said RD Julie J. Daquioag, Ph.D., CESO IV on her message to the participants of the BuB Provincial Stakeholders Forum.
The first batch of the forum was held yesterday, April 19, 2017 and was participated by the provinces of Bulacan, Bataan, and Pampanga together with its highly urbanized city (HUC), Angeles. Further, the forum for the second batch of provinces – Aurora, Tarlac, and Zambales alongside Olongapo City – will be held today, April 20, 2017.
