In 2011, the Department of the Interior and Local Government granted the Municipality of San Manuel, Tarlac with the Performance Challenge Fund. This is due to the municipality’s conferment of the Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH), a program which recognizes LGUs efforts in advancing the principles of accountability and transparency in local governance.

Committed to enhance the planning process of the local government unit (LGU), the Municipal Government of Lupao, Nueva Ecija embarked on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) project. Selected community volunteers were tapped by the LGU to act as enumerators and editors.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office III in coordination with the DILG Bataan and in partnership with the Provincial Government conducted a WEmboree on June 24-25 2015 at Sibul Nature Resort, Abucay, Bataan. The activity is a component of Operation Listo which aims to involve and empower our youth towards the attainment of a disaster resilient communities . The youth aged 18 to 30 from different city/municipalities of Bataan participated in the activity while the Officers and members of the PDRRMO PNP, BFP, Red Cross served as co-facilitators and Resource Persons.
