The Provincial Government of Bataan underwent a thorough evaluation for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) regional assessment at The Bunker on April 12, 2022.

The Lupon Tagapamayapa of Brgy. Alangan (Limay) and Brgy. Sta. Lucia (Samal) were assessed for this year's Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) as the Regional Awards Committee held an onsite validation on April 18, 2022.

On April 26, 2022, LFP Bulacan presented the Guidelines on the release and utilization of the LGSF-FA to LGUs in the F.Y. 2022 General Appropriations Act, Republic Act No. 11639 Local Budget Circular No. 142 dated January 24, 2022, and the Revised Guidelines on Motor Vehicle Acquisition by Local Government Units, to the LGUs on April 26, 2022. The activity was held at DJ Paradise Hotel and Resort, City of Malolos, Bulacan. Present during the orientation were DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Darwin D. David, Cluster Team Leader and LFP Focal Person Jose Algy B. Canlas, and Program Manager Carla Marie C. Turla.

To prepare for the upcoming phase 2 or the audit phase of the Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (ADAC) Performance Audit, a coordination meeting was held on April 30, 202, attended by the members of the audit team composed of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and two partner Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

In the quest to continuously hone the talents and competencies of its personnel, DILG Bataan held another edition of its Proactive Bataan series entitled "EPIC (Elevation of Personnel Interaction and Communication): A Skills Enhancement Activity" on April 20-21, 2022 at Nuan Farm and Resort, Bacolor, Pampanga.
