Given the bulk of Locally-Funded Projects (LFPs) being implemented by the Project Development and Management Section (PDMS), it is deemed necessary for the Regional and Provincial LFP Teams to meet, discuss, and ensure the continuous implementation and monitoring of said projects.

As passer of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG): Pagkilala sa Katapatan at Kahusayan ng Pamahalaang Lokal for FY 2019, the municipality of Santa Maria, Bulacan was entitled for Performance Challenge Fund. PCF can be used for municipalities to implement unfunded projects beneficial to the public.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales advocated the Disiplina Muna advocacy campaign as one of the strategies to contain COVID-19 and uphold peace and order and public safety in the province of Zambales, This was held during the Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) meeting for the 3rd Quarter 2020 on September 23, 2020.

In line with the Department of the Interior and Local Government's program to significantly ramp-up contact tracing in the country, the DILG-Olongapo City conducted the screening of qualified applicants for the contact tracer positions in Olongapo City on September 24, 2020.

DILG R3 had its Regional Roll-Out/Training on Barangay Profile System (BPS), Business Permit & Licensing System (BPLS), Building Permit & Certificate of Occupancy (BPCO) Online Monitoring System, and Regulatory Reforms for LGUs (RR4LGUS) Information System on September 22-23, 2020 for Aurora, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac (Batch 1) and September 23 ,2020 for Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Zambales, Angeles City and Olongapo City (Batch 2) via Zoom Cloud Platform. Cluster Team Leaders (CTLs), Program Managers (PMs), City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (C/MLGOOs) and BPS, BPLS-BPCO and RR4LGUs Provincial/HUC Focal Persons regionwide participated in the activity.
