In view of the DILG's mandate to ensure the presence of responsive LGU plans, a seminar-workshop was conducted by DILG Pampanga on the formulation of Comprehensive Development Plans (CDPs) for the first batch of Pampanga LGUs last March 28-31, 2017 at the Vista Marina Hotel, Subic Freeport Zone.

Under the active guidance of Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, DILG Pampanga pursued the initiative, which was particularly geared to realize the Department's commitment in ensuring the presence of responsive CDPs on the part of LGUs.

DILG Regional Office III Director Julie J. Daquioag also graced the activity and delivered a message emphasizing the importance of the seminar-workshop and the CDP itself in local governance.

"You are here today to form a significant part in the lives of your constituents through the CDP." the director conveyed as she addressed the training participants.
Assistant Capability Development Division (CDD) Chief Jayson S. Jumaquio served as the main resource speaker for the four-day training that was attended by local officials and functionaries from 11 LGUs in the province namely: Mabalacat City, Arayat, Bacolor, Candaba, Floridablanca, Magalang, Minalin, Porac, Sta. Ana, Sta. Rita, and Sto. Tomas.

Likewise, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (MED) Chief Lerrie S. Hernandez, during the third day of the activity, discussed Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA) to ensure the mainstreaming of disaster-related concerns on the CDP.
