June 12, 2015 – The DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, headed by Director Abraham A. Pascua, Ph.D., CESO III, joined the Provincial Government in the Celebration of the 117th Independence Day held in front of the Old Capitol, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Through the initiatives of the Department of Interior and Local Government - Nueva Ecija, the first-ever Provincial Poverty Reduction Action Team (PPRAT) organizational meeting in the region was held together with the conduct of the Implementation Review FY 2014- FY 2016 Bottom-Up Budgeting Projects on June 2, 2015 at the Amphiteater, Old Capitol Compound, Cabanatuan City.
The Municipality of Lupao, Nueva Ecija happily received two projects under the Bottom-Up Budgeting for Calendar Year 2014 as two Inauguration and Turn-over Ceremonies were held on April 8, 2015.
Highlighting the theme, “Thank God, There is GAD in Nueva Ecija”, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) spearheaded the first Open Forum on Gender and Development Plan and Budget (GADPB) with live radio broadcast on DWNE 900 kHz. The broadcast was hosted by GAD Advocate-Provincial Planning and Development Office Sonia M. Capio and Jun G. Garcia on May 11, 2015 at the DILG Provincial Office Conference Room, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

A P1M worth of SALINTUBIG (Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig para sa Lahat) Project under Bottom Up Budgeting 2014 was inaugurated and turned over to the residents of Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Lupao, Nueva Ecija last April 8, 2015. Regional Director Florida M. Dijan and Assistant Regional Director Abraham A. Pascua were Guests of Honor of the said program.
