PAMPANGA - PCSupt Rudy Gamido Lacadin, Regional Director, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) dons his uniform one last time on May 30, 2016 upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56 and serving 34 years of unwavering commitment to the police service.

PDG Ricardo C Marquez, Chief, Philippine National Police presided over the outgoing chief's Retirement Honors and the PNP Change of Command Ceremony between PCSupt Lacadin and PCSupt Aaron Nagtalon Aquino, the incoming Officer-In-Charge of PRO3 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

In his speech, PNP Chief Marquez acknowledged PCSupt Lacadin's exceptional concern for the development of PNP and his courage in leading the police force of Central Luzon in planning out and implementing major tasks which turned out to be highly successful. He also commended him for leaving a remarkable legacy which will continuously thrive in the years to come.

"You are leaving PRO3 in a better place than when you found it, and that in itself, will remain a lasting tribute to your commitment to public service."

PCSupt Lacadin expressed his gratitude to all officials, from the most senior down to the non-commissioned officers in the PNP for being with him and trusting him all throughout his fight against crime. He also thanked his PRO3, DILG Family, friends and the members of the media for the support that they willingly gave him in the short nine-month span that he served as the

Regional Director. And lastly, he thanked his family for their unfailing support and understanding despite him being an "absentee husband and father".

Further, the outgoing PNP chief of the region urged all the members of the PRO3 police force to rally behind their new leader unequivocally for he has on his plate a gamut of tasks to fulfill.
