In line with the commitment of the current administration's continuous campaign to eliminate the use of illegal drugs, the DILG together with partner national agencies, Local Government Units (LGUs), and other stakeholders, leads the implementation of the advocacy entitled Buhay Ingatan, Droga'y Ayawan (BIDA) Program which aims to raise awareness and encourage community participation in drug demand reduction.

 The said program was launched on November 26, 2022 at Quezon City Memorial Circle for the Luzon Cluster. All Local Government Units were encouraged to conduct drug demand reduction activities simultaneously to the grand launching of the BIDA Program.

The DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Office headed by Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr. together with the officials and personnel of the City of Palayan headed by Mayor Viandrei Nicole J. Cuevas also participated in the launching and participated in the activities such as the Unity Walk and Zumba for all.

The said activity was also participated in by the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Barangay Officials, and Youth Police of the City of Palayan.
