A stronger and more engaged DILG Pampanga ready to take on the enormous tasks ahead as advocates of good local governance was the focal point of the planning activity conducted on November 3-4, 2022, at Pearl of Morong Resort, Bataan, dubbed "ENGAGE – Enhancing Group Accomplishments through Goal-setting and Effective Planning."

The activity, a component of LGRC's SIKAN, which focuses on strengthening capacities of the personnel, is an opportune time to build a new team and foster stronger camaraderie following the recent changes in the organization.
In her message, PD Myra Soriano urged each one to give their personal stamp in the way programs are implemented to make a more lasting impact especially on LGUs.
"Magtulungan tayo kung papano natin pagagandahin pa ang pagdeliver ng ating mga programa. Essentially, this is a new team. Hopefully through this activity, we become a well-oiled machine and establish that harmony so we can work towards our goal of becoming the best province in the region," PD Mai said.
Program officers presented to the group where they are now in their respective programs, but more importantly, where they want to go and how they can get there through innovative strategies.
Meanwhile, members of the management team composed of PD Mai, CTL Algy Canlas, CTL Renalyn Iglesias, and PM Mark Kevin Salonga provided individual feedback and shared their inputs to further finetune the strategies in addressing gaps and improving results.
Program officers of the Information-IT Unit and LGRC also laid out their activities and timeline, and highlighted strategies to make various initiatives of DILG Pampanga "more palatable" to clients.
The team committed to follow through the proposed action plans in the coming weeks and sustain its implementation until next year.
